New year resolutions fail mainly, because they are only ink on paper or better still just statement. There are usually no actions, no accountability partner, no deadlines. sometimes they come off unrealistic.

But let’s be real;

sticking to New Year’s resolutions can be tough. Whether it’s trying to eat healthier, exercise more, or save money, we often find ourselves falling back into old habits and failing to follow through on our goals.

This isn’t to say that New Year’s resolutions are a waste of time. Far from it – setting goals and making positive changes in our lives can be incredibly rewarding. But it’s important to be realistic about the challenges we may face along the way.

Tips to make this year different!

One key to sticking to your resolutions is to make them specific and achievable. Rather than resolving to “exercise more,” try setting a specific goal, like “exercise for 30 minutes three times a week.” This makes your resolution more measurable and attainable.

1. Be your undiluted self (we are a result of what we think):

Intentionally act like the person you want to become, because when you do that your brain sees you taking those actions, so your brain starts to change the way it relates to you. Make intentional efforts to think positive thoughts this year. you cannot want change anything doing the same old habits. Reward yourself: Celebrate your achievements and milestones along the way. This can help keep you motivated and give you a sense of accomplishment.

2. Make realistic Resolutions:

Set specific and achievable goals. Instead of resolving to “exercise more,” set a specific goal, such as “exercise for 30 minutes three times a week.” This will make it easier to track your progress and stay motivated. Break your goals down into smaller steps. If you have a large goal, such as “lose 50 pounds,” break it down into smaller, more manageable goals, such as “lose 1 pound a week.” This will make it easier to see progress and stay motivated.

3. Stay motivated:

Stay motivated. Find ways to keep yourself motivated, such as rewarding yourself for small victories, enlisting the support of others, or reminding yourself of the benefits of achieving your goals .Find accountability partners. Share your goals with friends, family, or a coach or mentor, and ask them to help you stay on track.

4. Don’t give up:

If you fall off track, don’t give up. It’s never too late to start again. Remember that progress takes time and it’s okay to have setbacks. The important thing is to keep trying and stay committed to your goal.If you do find yourself struggling to stick to your resolution, don’t get discouraged. It’s normal to have setbacks and it’s okay to adjust your goals or plan as needed. The important thing is to keep trying and stay committed to making positive changes in your life.

So, as we enter the new year, let’s embrace the excitement and possibility that it brings. And let’s remember that even if we don’t achieve every goal we set for ourselves, the journey towards improvement is often just as rewarding as the destination.
